As a rule, we generally do not weigh calves until they are about 4-5 months old. At this age they will weigh an average of about 35kg. By the end of winter they average about 45Kg.

Mature hinds weigh up to 90kg and their weight will vary considerably over the year. Generally, the hinds will weigh between 60 - 80kg.

Similarly with the stags, their weight can vary 10 - 20kg throughout the year. Our biggest Pure Sika is over 130kg. The mature stags in the velvet herd weigh between 100 and 115kg.
